Briony obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Curtin University and was admitted at the Supreme Court of Western Australia. During the study of law, Briony received three commendation letters from the Dean of Curtin Law School congratulating on her outstanding academic results. Briony was also awarded the Best Student in Corporate Governance in 2019. Prior to joining Tang Law, Briony worked in a boutique law firm.
At Tang Law, Briony assists the Principal Lawyer and immigration lawyer providing legal advice and preparing legal submissions on immigration law matters. Briony also undertakes general family law work.
Briony also graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Master of Arts Degree in Translation and Interpreting in 2013, and became a NAATI accredited professional translator and interpreter in the same year.
As a professional interpreter, Briony has obtained ample experience in working with various governmental and legal organizations, such as the Department of Home Affairs, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Federal Circuit Court, the Family Court of Western Australia, the Magistrates Court, Fair Work Commission, etc. These experiences are precious for Briony working in legal field later.
